Holidays

I am finding it hard to get into the holiday spirit this. I am not in my own home, my husband is at war, and my friend had her precious baby die, which hurts even more because I lost my daughter 5 years ago. But I am trying to do things that feel normal, like making a gingerbread house with my kids:

And I wanted to post some pictures of Tim's sister's wedding. The kids were in it.







Hope was also in it, but would not get a good picture.
So, I will be at choir practice every night this week, preparing for our program this weekend. Maybe that will help me shake the blues.
