Fun

We went to the Children's Museum yesterday. It is so huge, I didn't realize how large it is, and next time, we will take a whole day. Plus, I will try to get another adult to go with me. Connor wanted to do his own thing, and the girls were interested in other things. They had a blast though. And they gave us a military discount. It took $2 off the entire cost, which is better than nothing. I will look into getting a Seattle Children's Museum family pass. It is really worth the money.

Hope and Connor towards the front of the shot, Katelyn in the back, wearing all pink. Fishing on the mock Mississippi River:

All the kids in the cockpit:

Handy Manny ain't got NOTHIN on Handy Hopey:

Connor and his new friends learning to fight fires:

So glad that they chose to get in the front seats:

So, we spent about 2 1/2 hours there, but needed at least 5. But I would bet the one in Seattle is far better than the one here in Memphis. The weirdest thing about these places, is the strong tension among all the mommies with their kids. It's like a fight to let your kids have the fun. I am sure you know what I mean. Anyplace where you have hovering mothers with their spoiled children, you run into this. I think the area we were in had a lot to do with it, as it is in the Chickasaw Gardens neighborhood. The mothers were probably all pampered, Junior League, old money ladies, with nothing better to do than go buy a $200 hand sewn outfit for their preschooler, and one for themselves, get all fixed up, and take them to the Children's Museum. I'm just saying'. lol.

But we had a great time! I wish I had more pictures, but I was running around playin'.

On a different note. My verse for this week:

Hebrews 11:6

"Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Because anyone who comes to know Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."

I would have to say, if you are looking for a great Bible Study, besides reading it by yourself, I HIGHLY recommend the Experiencing God study. I linked the site there, if you want to order it. It has been the single most life-changing study I have ever done. And this is my 3rd time through. My husband is also going through it, though we are not able to discuss it much together. My mother has done it, and also my sister is doing it. If you want to know God as you have never known Him, understood Him, or even thought about Him, I would tell you to buy this and do it everyday. It takes between 10-20 minutes each day.

I love the Children's Museum. I remember taking the boys there when they were little & now Jolie gets to go. I've considered a membership, but I like the zoo more. Which reminds me, I need to renew it so we can go this spring.
