May I be this guy

Only in Millington, TN will you find an old man happily driving down the road, with absolutely no hood on his truck! I took the kids to pick up some pizza tonight, and had to drive into Millington, since there are no deliveries out in my neck of the woods. We got caught in a huge traffic jam, though, on our way..yeah, wierd, out in the country traffic jam. The annual blue angels air show was today, apparently. So, anyway, we were driving back home with our pizza, and the man in the truck passed by. I thought, how happy he looks! Well, then I was thinking, I can see everything under his hood, since his hood is not there. And we are called to walk blameless, and if we are, we can walk confidently exposed to the world. I love to blog and have gotten used to sharing my innermost thoughts in them at times. And why not? If they are pure, then shouldn't they be seen? Of course, some things should not be seen! But, for the most part, I would like to walk as an exposed, transparent person. What you see is what you get.

Deuteronomy 18:13
You must be blameless before the LORD your God.

Psalm 15
A psalm of David.

1 LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?

2 He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart

3 and has no slander on his tongue,
who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellowman,

4 who despises a vile man
but honors those who fear the LORD,
who keeps his oath
even when it hurts,

5 who lends his money without usury
and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things
will never be shaken.
