OK, no one else that I know even knows who he is, but Dr Creflo Dollar is one of my all time favorite preachers. He is on TV a lot, and has a church in College Park, Georgia. Well, he came to speak in Memphis today! I just got home from the morning session! I am very big on unity within the cultures, and I was sooo pleased to see that I was NOT the only white person in the room! He is a black preacher, and mannnnn, did we have church! I have always wanted to go to a black church, because I was so interested in their praise and worship styles. I know God calls us to play instruments for Him, but He also wants us to dance and rejoice. Well, being from Southern Baptist churches, I have NEVER seen anyone dance in church! I DANCED TODAY! I was so filled with the Holy Spirit! I wish we could do that at our church. I do, however, get down some in the choir loft at Faith Baptist! There are a few of us who can't contain it! The hands raising up to heaven today were such a blessing to me!
Psalm 150
1 Praise the LORD.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD.
He speaks again tonight, but I don't really want to ask my parents to watch the kids again today. But I would love to go again! He preaches Truth and makes no apologies about it. It was so great! And I loved sitting with believers of all colors. I wish my church could be like that. We have so much to learn from on another.
My love and me
