Moving Day coming soon

I can't believe my husband has been gone almost a year. Next week will make it a full 12 months of deployment. I am waiting for the phone call that tells me I have a place to move into back in Washington. Meanwhile, I have a house full of stuff to sell and/or get rid of. Preferably sell, so I can have a little money in my pocket for the trip home. I am so excited to get to have my husband home. The kids are very excited, too. I have already had Connor's Kindergarten physical done for the fall semester, and have done a lot of dental and doctor's appointments for all of us so we will not have to rush around when we move. I am going to miss having my friends and family around all of the time, but I Will be thrilled to be back there, and get involved with the kids sports and family things again, esp now that the kids are getting older!! It is getting better! No more diapers, or nursing, or nap times!! Well, I WISH naps were still on the agenda, but the kids don't usually cooperate. Water sports are calling our names already. I am trying to find things to do for the summer when we get there.
Tonight's agenda: Redneck throw down with people of Shelby Forest :)
I don't know what to wear, because I seem to have never found the time to buy any camo, lol. It is a big game dinner, and I asked my mom if I can wear a "go vegan' tee, haha. Not really. I might end up being asked to leave, lol. It should be interesting.
And, as far as the campaign for president. Why is not one person still running against McCain? And can we have Obama as his VP is McCain wins? Because I really like Obama, but I am not really sure anyone will win against McCain. The older people are going to vote McCain in. Maybe Obama will run again, since he is so young. He is just a wee bit premature with his message. I believe in his message, but there are far too many people alive today that are not ready for it. Kind of like so many older adults wouldn't use banks, or credit cards. It will take at least another 4 years for the majority of voters to come to that consciousness.
I am interested to see what will be happening in these next 4 years, you know, as far as the whole 2012 aspect. Have not personally figured it out yet, but I think a little about it daily. There will be more awakenings coming. Very exciting stuff!
