Ok, it is bedtime, and I find myself trying to think up 13 things to write about. Harder than you think, actually. I was going to copy my friend, Jessica Babb and write all 13 about one child for 3 weeks, but I am not really in the mood for that. I have been cleaning my parents house allllll day, with a doctor's appointment in the middle of the day being my only break. They have been in the Bahamas all week, and will be home tomorrow night, and I thought it would be nice to come home to a spotless house, well, at least a spotless downstairs. I mean, come on, there are about 18 rooms in their house, not including closets and halls. There is only so much a mom with her 3 kids in tow can do!! BUT I have gotten a great handle on it. I guess, on that note, I will list what I have done to it, plus maybe some other things to fill up the numbers. I'm Sanguine, I need to get the words out, even if I have to think really hard. I really might explode if I do not.
1. I made her sink shine (thank you fly lady)
2. I gutted and re-organized the downstairs laundry room
3. While in that laundry room, I discovered a box FULL of socks not matched with mates. I dumped it all out, and matched about 30 pair. I should wrap them up and give them to my parents as a gift tomorrow! And I found some socks of my kids that have been missing since about August.
4. I Spic and Spanned the entire spans of the living room.
5. I Pine-Sol'd the entire kitchen tiles, then, with a toothbrush, got down and cleaned all the grout lines. The kids all pitched in. We love to clean our floors!
6. Watered all the plants in the 'keeping room'
7. Cleaned up approx 2.5 pee accidents while cleaning
8. Cleaned one of the bathrooms downstairs. The one with the most traffic. Smells much better now, ahhh.
9. Laundered small area rugs, and one of my kids even walked into the kitchen and asked if we got a new rug. I said, no, I just washed it, lol
10. washed walls and base-boards
11. drank coffee
12. Fixed meals
13. Checked my email
So, that has been my life the last week, between church, classes, lessons, appointments, and tub time and bedtime. I am so tired, but I really just want to take a bath, without any kids coming in to join me, then sit up and watch Conan. He is so much funnier without writers!!! But I love him either way, so I am not very objective.
I am teetering on the McCain/Huckabee line. Who do I like better?? Maybe they can go together, if one of them wins the nomination! That would be a great ticket!
My love and me
